Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Hullo, name is Hakim, i bought a calling card for $5.98 yesterday to call my wife in Uganda. I bought it from an internet site and after payment they display the access number and pin number for you to use and they collect the funds after that. Problem is, the pin number does not work. This is just a rare occasion for me since i have used these cards for 8 years now. Now i am calling customer service (two numbers provided), one number is an automated machine that arrives to nothing. The other number keeps on calling until they tell you to leave a message. I was wondering whether this card company can be sued for what they are doing.

Sure they can. But it will cost you a couple hundred dollars to do so.
