Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
My husband plays in an adult hockey league and the rink is now saying they will require each team to keep a credit card on file for the season that they will then charge that card for any damages to the locker rooms, etc. Is this legal?

As long as it is not discriminatorily applied, there is no prohibition on this kind of requirement. It was only a few years back that video rental stores required this.
