kitchen remodeling not started

signed contract to have kitchen remodeled in september. Its december and no work has been started each time I call they either dont returned my call and when we talk to the guy he makes some excuse why they havent started. They were paid in full through a loan we took through their company. We have made 4 payments already. Is there a way I can Cancel this contract.

Yikes. Never a good idea to pay in full before the work is done. About all you can do is tell them if they do not get started by a certain date, that you will be contacting an attorney. And then if they do not start by that date, you will need to actually contact an attorney. Good luck.

Yeah, you are in a tough situation. They are in breach of contract and holding all the money. You should probably have an attorney write a strongly worded letter threatening to file suit. You can also try going through the Better Business Bureau.
