Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
Can my mortgage charge me a fee for an appraisal on an existing mortgage? I am about three years into my mortgage and my statement today shows $84.00 for appraisal/bpo. I've never seen
this before. All criteria were met at closing on the loan.

It is possible if you are in default. You should first contact your lender and ask them to explain.
