Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
I had gotten a Payday loan and paid off the loan. However an employee of that company had stolen my identity and took out a loan in my name. I was never notified of this information nor do I know how it effected my credit history. Another employee had told me the activity in confidence thinking I wouldn't do anything about it after I tried applying for a loan again through the company. I have gotten a print out of the loan and activity on the account i had through the company. Is their anything I can do?
