Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
We purchased a used car 3/31/2011.After haggling on payments we agreed to pay $448 a month for 60 months instead of 428 for 72 months. Lots of documents signed and when we got home the term of the loan is 72 months. I called the dealer same day and told them that it was a mistake. The Business Manager said that we already drove it off the dealer lot and its our car now and was signed.I'm still waiting for a return call from the General Manager. What is our recourse if they decline to change the term. Thank you for your help.

You may be able to refiance the car elsewhere. Without seeing the paper work I really cannot tell you what recourse may exist.
