Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
I purchased a car from a private seller had it inspected days later only to discover that the frame was rotted out and had been patched over and painted to give the apperance the frame was fine. Can I sue the seller for my money back?

You can sue anyone for anything. The real question is, will you win? The seller will argue the sale was as-is, and you will argue that the seller defrauded you be concealing a known defect. Then the judge will decide who is more believable.
