Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
I recently bought a used car in the city. We went to a currency exchange and we placed an order for my title and plates there. He said he gave the clerk the title and all other information needed and that my plates and title would be ready in 6 weeks. It has been 3 months now and I have received nothing. My temp plates are expired and the currency exchange keeps leading me in cirlces. I'm not sure if the selling actually owned this vehicle or if he even had the title. He said he works for a auto auction. Can or should I sue this guy?
