Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
I recently purchased some items from a retail store and used my credit card. 3 days later the company charged my credit card 3 addtional amounts. When I called the company to find out why they said the items purchased were marked incorrectly in their system, so they charged me the full amount. Is this in any way legal?

If it was marked incorrectly on the shelf, I would say the store overstepped its bounds. In any event, the store should allow you to return the merchandise and receive a full refund since you agreed at the cash register to a certain amount. Odd how it took three additional attempts to get it right though.
