Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
refusing payment
If i wanted to make payments on a debt and the person refused it would i still be responsible for the debt? And could i tape her doing this or would i have to tell her i was taping her?

Re: refusing payment
If you agreed to make the payment in full, yes, he/she can demand payment in full. You cannot use a taped recording of somebody in court unless they gave you their permission to record them.

You are responsible for the debt. Taping another party without their knowledge is illegal in Illinois.
