Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
rent to own proprerty
I have a computer that is rented from a rent to own place. I have made all the payments, however some have been late. The company is now telling me that any payments I send from now on will be sent back and they want to pick up the merchandise. Can they do this? They have accepted all payments in the past late or not. Please advise. I have continued making payments, now what?

Re: rent to own proprerty
Read the fine print in the contract. There probably is a general forfeiture provision.
This means if you don't comply with all of the terms they can take take bavk teir property.
