Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
My name is serita.I purchased some idol Indian remi wet&weavy;12inch hair from a beauty supply store as my hair was being done I found out the hair was only 10inches I went back to the beauty suppuration store.& I was told that's how it came they ordered it.& it was nothing he can do.I tried to call the company no answer. & I emailed the company it was an invalid email address. What else can I do about this matter?

The store keeper is wrong if the product simply didn't match the box information but if they're refusing to refund your money you can sue (which will probably cost you more than the hair did in the first place), report them to the Better Business Bureau, report them to the Illinois Attorney General (Consumer Fraud & Protection Division), or maybe even your alderman. Sometimes Alderman may help adjust disputes between local businesses and their customers if it will help keep businesses in your area.
