Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
I sold a peice of furniture out my own house. Listed it online. A lady came and paid for it, the full price of $100. She said she would pick it up that day or the next. It has been 4 days and still it sits in my garage. She has not called or emailed me in that time. I sent her an email on the third day and still no response.
How long do I have to store it in my garage before I can get rid of it or resell it?

Technically, I would say you need to comply with the Illinois Labor and Storage Lien Act at 770 ILCS 45.
