Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
My son bought a car from a buy here pay here car lot in Illinois. he has 5 months left to pay on it. he went in today to make his payment and the lot is closed.no cars on the lot and no info on where to go to make is payment. they have the title till the car is payed off.what does he do now.who can he talk to .

Contact the secretary of state for Illinois, business services division. They should have a registered agent who he can contact. Otherwise, contact the chamber of commerce for the city where the lot was located.
