got sued for my car payments didnt go to court a judgement was entered had my check garnished finished paying now they want to enter a motion for a default judgment is this possible they could get more money after i payed up my judgement amount ?

Insufficient information. Could be a mistake but unfortunately in our court system if you don't show up to protect your own interests things can go wrong and if there's nobody there to say "wait a minute" things can STAY wrong. Don't assume that just because you don't show up the "other side" can protect you -- they may have faulty information from their client and it's YOUR job to point it out (that's part of the defense responsibility in addition to just denying responsibility) because there are PROCEDURAL errors that can be as costly as anything else. You must do some homework -- if you refuse to get an attorney you will need to contact plaintiff's attorney and ask what's up and if need be show up in court with all the info about having paid the judgment -- what you SHOULD be getting if what you say is true, is a document called a "Satisfaction of Judgment" that you may need to record if the judgment was recorded against you in your home county (again something an attorney would advise you of).
