Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
for the last two years I sit in a coffe shop mon thru friday with a group of colleagues, each morning for coffee and chat before going to work; since the location has opened. Suddenly, without warning, the store manager came over and asked me to leave saying that I was loitering and said nothing to the other patrons there who most come regulary or to anyone else in my group. We type of law complaint can this be called?

Unless you are a member of a protected class (Race, Color, Sex, Religion, National Origin, etc.), and your exclusion is based on being part of that protected class, you probably have no case. The coffee shop is private property, and as such, the owner has the "right to refuse service" as the signs often say.
