Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

about 4 years ago, my father asked me to keep his comics for him as he had no where to store them. He died about a year later, and the estate is settled, I still have the comics. Now my step mother is asking for them back so she can sell them. She got EVERYTHING as he had no will. Do I have to give them back?

If things were in joint tenancy she was entitled to everything. If they were in Dad;s name she was only entitled to 1/2. She is entitled to half of the comics
