Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois
2 years ago I let my friends use my name to buy a bike. My name is the only one on the loan. His name is on the title. He was making the payments then started not being able to make the payments so I caught him up. Then he had to go to jail for speeding and there in jail he hit his head and had a stroke. After being released from the hospital not being able to pay his bills, he has disappeared. I haven't spoke to him in roughly 2 months. Is there anything I can do legally?

You can sue him and get a judgment, and try to collect the money from him.
