What is considered a reasonable about of lates to have a car reposessed? Ford is trying to take the care after 42 days late. Is this reasonable? We have had a large loss in income over the past year and I am currently unemployed.

Depends on the terms of your contract. 42 days is rather aggressive, but that does not necessarily make it unreasonable. Good luck.
