Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

A Bill That Is Not My Own

I was recently contacted by a creditor advising me to pay a debit or a claim would be filed against me to go to court. This bill is from verizon wireless for over $500 in calls. A year ago my mother got a phone in my name because her credit was not accepted. Now this bill is on my credit report hendering me from major purchases. I have asked my mother to pay this bill on several occasions and she has come up with excuses every time the payment is due. What do I do about getting these people to leave me alone? What do I do about sueing my mother for this money? Help!!!

You have to pay them and sue your mother - it's that simple!
