Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois
I bought a car that my girlfriend co signed on. After breaking up, she agreed to continue making payments. However, several payments have been late or missed and creditors are harrassing me.
I contacted a recovery team to get my car back to the dealer since I know live in Florida. I have a spare key. Can I or the recovery team get into any legal trouble for taking the car while he sleeps of works? I need out of this situation. Please help.
