Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

hello, I was brainstorming alittle and came up with an idea not very ethical but was wondering if it could work... I like to gamble online now normally I use a credit card or send cash, however the website i use offers an electronic check option which would be billed directly from my checking account. My question is say I deposited money using echeck and i either stopped payment on the check or just didnt leave enough funds in the bank to cover it and my bank rejected it.. So now im into this offshore website say a few grand or so. What could happen? With all the different online gambling laws was just kinda wondering? Thankyou

You are correct, your idea is not ethical, and in fact, is criminal.
