Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

If a company gets a judgment against a small business, can they dictate the amount of monthly payments, or are they supposed to work with the small business to set up a payment plan that is affordable to the small business???

If they have a judgment they have the right to use the judicial process to levy on any assets in the business' name. If the business has no assets, then they can not collect anything. They do not have to work with you. You have little, if any, bargaining power.
