Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois
I co-signed a vehicle loan for my childs father. not only does he not have a drivers liscence, he is not making payments!! the vehicle is registered in my name, under my drivers information.. how do i rectify this situation???

You can either file bankruptcy to get your name off, or you can call note holder and see if they will assign the note solely to him, which I highly doubt they will as he has not been making payments. I would go pick up car yourself, get payments current and try to sell it for what you owe if possible.
