if you are really filing bankruptcy, then a default judgment against you might not be important to you. if there is any chance that you may not, for whatever reason, file then you should respond to the summons.

You may contact me and I will explain everything about bankruptcy in a free consultation. Basically, we can't tell you not to go to court because if they get a default judgment they can then go forward to garnish wages before you are able to file. If you can afford to file quickly and have not used any credit cards in last 90 days incurring more than 600 we should be able to do quickly.
