Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

A credit card comapny is suing a friend for unpaid bill. She used the credit card to make purchases for a friend and the friend signed a promisory note for those charges. Based on this information can the credit card company pursue this person also for the upaid debt?

The credit card company will sue the credit card holder only. It would be up to your friend to enforce the promissory note.
