Credit card debt of deceased mother
My mother passed away owing some credit card debt, can I just send a death cretificate so the debt is forgiven?
She owned a house that is paid for.

Re: Credit card debt of deceased mother
Assuming the estate has sufficient assets to pay the credit card debt (which is probably the case since she owned the house), that debt will need to be paid from the proceeds of the estate.
