credit card responsiblity

My sisters boyfriend got a credit card and put her name down as an authorized user even though she never gave her s.s. # on the application or signed the application, if were to die will she be held responsible for the bill?

This can be a stick situation. She would have to prove that the charges on the account were 1)not made by her and 2)in no way benefited her. The burden whether fairly or unfairly is often on the card user to prove that they have nothing to do with the charges.
