Fees

In an action for unpaid condo association assessments, is a debtor responsible for attorney fees billed during settlement negotiations? What if an agreement is reached regarding the actual claim (not incl attny fees)? What if claim should have never been filed b/c all other measures were not exhausted (e.g. no demand for payment ever issued)?

You would have to see what your condo rules and bylaws are. In general if a document you sign says you are responsible for legal fees then you are responsible.
