I told the judge I felt the statue of limitation had passed on my case. He told me to file a motion?
How do I do this?

Re: How to file a motion
You have to file a written motion with the clerk of the circuit court. The motion will state the facts of the matter, and the case law which supports your position. Once filed you need to send a copy to the opposing counsel and the motion will be heard by the judge on a date given my the clerk of the court. You should contact the clerk of the court since they may have blank motion forms and notice of motion forms you can use.
