Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois
forcloseur
can a mortgage put on your credit report forcloseur if the forcloseur was not completed? I call the company about this and they maintain that they can. I am trying to purchase a new home and I feel that this statement will hurt my chance.

Yes. They can report that you are deliquent in your payments and if they filed suit against you the reporting agency with definetly pick up the suit. Of course it will effect your credit. Shouldn't it? Your new lender wants to know your ability to pay.
