my ex girlfriend saved back one of my signed checks suppose to be for groceries and we broke up the amount was not filled in and now 3 months later she wrote out the check for 10,000.00 on an account that that did not have it. she went to states attourney to try to get me for check fraud and i did not write the check for that amount plus she put on the check hold and a date all over it and under my signiture she put savings. what can i do

It is quite likely that the States Attorney, when they find out it is a old flame case, will tell her to go to civil court and sue you, Then it is a question of whom the judge will believe.
