Giving car back to creditor

Hello,I wanted to know if in the state of Illinois can my wages be garnished if i let my car be repossesed.I am upside down so bad i cant get rid of it so what would happen if i let the bank come get it.

Yes, if they obtained a judgment against you, they can garnish your wages.
