Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

harassment

I'm receiving 3-4 calls a day regarding a delinquent account that is not mine. I was told by citifinancial that there is nothing I can do about it and the calls will continue until the actual person is found. Is this true? Is there a reporting agency like the better business bureau that can be used?

As much as I'm sure you don't want to have to obtain a lawyer for this, getting a lawyer to write a letter to them would probably do the trick.
