hello

i'm being owed over $6500 by a travel agent in oregon. i deposited money in her account as a damage security deposit for a chateau rental. the owner has told her to return the full money to us since april. she has refused to do so, wont pick her phone or reply my emails. what can i do. the address we sent letters to came back wrong. can we also sue the chateau owner aas well

Where does the owner live? Where is the chateau? If the only contact is that you live in Illinois, you need to talk to a lawyer where the chateau is or where the owner is. And as the broker was the owner's agent, I would suggest that you could sue the owner for the money, but I am only licensed to practice in IL and IL may not apply to your facts.
