Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

The hospital I went to they billed the wrong insurance company, 5 times I gave them to correct information by the time they got it right it was 30 days past and the insurance company wouldn't pay it. Now they say I have to pay it and I don't think I should have to pay for it was there mistake not mine.

If your bill was under $10,000.00 sue both insurance company and hospital in small claims court. Or if your policy provides for arbitration before filing suit, take the insurance company to arbitration. Most import thing is to get a copy of your policy and know it inside and out.
