Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois
my husband has a small claims judgement against him in the state of Illinois. The judgement is only against him.
He has to go for a Discovery Hearing to produce assets. We have joint assets. Does he have to produce them or are they exempt because my name is on them?

Joint assets are available to satisfy a judgment. There are exemptions available to you and your husband which may protect some of them
All the creditor wants is to be psid. If it a small amount suggest an installment plan where you and H will make the payments.
