Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois
Joint judgement for guardian ad litem fees. guardian ad litem only persueing payment from one party, via garnishment, and other. Other party has not paid nor has even been approached to pay. guardian ad litem says that a creditor can choose to go after the easiest target. is this legal?

If the judgment is joint and several, the creditor can go after whom he/she/it chooses. The court could have allocated between the 2 of you, if it had seen fit. So yes, it is legal.
