Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

Without my knowledge, my parents took out a student loan in my name and then didn't pay it on time. They didn't realize that they were ruining my credit score (theirs is already shot). Is there a way for me to clear my name/credit score without accusing my parents of fraud?

No - but how can they take it out in your name unless they forged your signature?
