If I am making monthly payments on my medical bills, are they still able to take me to court for wage garnishment?

Are you making those monthly payments according to a written settlement agreement? If not, and if they take you to court, you will have to explain your payments and situation to the judge. Bring your receipts or cancelled checks and any other written materials to court.
