Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

Help Please

Several months ago I was taken to court by a loan company where I had taken out a loan. I now live in flordia and the loan was taken when I lived in Illinois. I was unable to make the court date so a judgement of default was ordered against me. As of recently the loan company has found out my new address and they are sending me bills. Today I got a letter stating that if I did not pay this they would take legal action against me. How can they do this if they have already taken me to court and got a judgement for payment? I am unemployed at this time and am unable to pay this loan off. Can they take me back to court for this? I am confused. If they do take me back to court would it be in Illinois or here in florida. Any advice would be appriciated.

Thanks,

Sheri

Re: Help Please

They can "execute" the judgment which does involve more judicial procedings. They can go through a process to have the judgment transferred to Florida and continue the case down here.
