Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

No-Fault Home Foreclosure

Our house is being foreclosed on (mistakenly) for the third time in 5 years. Our bank, a very well known bank, continues to error our account and the burden falls on us to prove our innocence. Each occurence has taken many hours of our time (= loss wages)and causes our family undue stress. What are our options as far as A)Preventing this a 4th and 5th time (outside of the obvious solution of finding a new bank) and B)to seek compensation for having to spend our work hours/cellphone minutes(hours) and overall disruption of our peace and comfort trying to solve the banks mistakes? I'm not even going to get into what they've done to my credit rating over these situations. I have been nearly financialy disabled due to their negligence. Any advice would be grealty appreciated. Somebody need to be held accountable!
