Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

I want to pay a judgment in a lump sum.

1.) Do I pay the creditor directly, or do I go through a court mediator or process?

2.) After I submit payment, how do I update (or even eliminate) the judgment on the court docket?

3.) At what point do I inform the credit bureaus, or is that up to the creditor?

I guess what I am asking is what it the process from beginning to end to pay a judgment and clear the record(s)?

If there is a judgment, the chances are there is an attorney for the creditor. Payment should be made through the attorney. When payment is made you should be given a satisfaction of judgment. You can then move the court to vacate the judgment (due to it being satisfied). You can then inform the credit bureaus.
