Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

I purchased a vehicled and financed it thru my credit union. I never missed a payment nor was late on a payment. Financed changed so I returned the vehicle to the bank and I went today to withdraw my money from my account but the bank took it and told me I was a repo and they would be taking my checks from my account. What can I do about this situation?

Confused

It would depend on what your written agreement with the credit union was. Some loan agreements do have a provision which would allow this. At the very least, you could certainly stop using this account until you get this sorted out with them.
