Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

I received a 'Third Party Citation to Discover Assets'. The plantiff has a $4,339.06 judgement against me. Under Illinois Exemption Statute 735 ILCS 5/12-1001, can I be forced to surrender/sell my vehicles? I have a 1999 Chevy Cavalier (Trade in Value $591) titled only in my name, a 2001 Mercury Cougar (Trade In Value $891) titled in both my husbands and my name, and a 2003 Ford Escape (Trade In Value $2,524) titled only in my name. Can section (b) and (d) both be exercised? I have no other bank accounts, property, employment, etc. for them to go after. Thank you.

You entitle to an exemption of $2400 in one car - and $5000 in a wild card exemption. The exemptions should be listed int he citation notice you should received. If you have property above the amounts of the exemptions, then you can be forced to sell, turnover those assets.
