Name Removed From Loan Documents?

Hello. If I sign loan documents as a guarantor, can my name be removed in 30 or 60 days making it so that I am no longer seen as responsible to repay that loan? If I were to sign loan papers with a third party so that a line of business credit is received, can my name be removed from the loan and I, no longer be seen as responsible for it in the banks eyes? Though I would have a contract with the 3rd party saying I'm not responsible, the worse case scenario is......?
