reposession

My car was repossesed, I plan on giving it up because I can't afford the payment now, can I get my personal belongings from the car?

If you call the company that repossessed the car, they will probably have something set up that allows you to come collect your stuff.

If you cannot afford the payments, you probably could not afford any legal action against the company either, so it is probably in your best interest to go through their procedure rather than fight.
