repossession?

If my husband signed for a loan for our 25 year old son to by a new truck without discussing it with me and the truck is in my husband's name only and my son cannot afford the payments and the truck gets repossessed - will that repossession effect my personal credit due to the fact that we are married? thank you.

No, credit is done under social security numbers, and names, married couples are not responsible for the other spouses debts that do not relate to food clothing shelter or medical services
