Ripped Off?

According to my credit report I owe Ameritech $60.00, but the collection agency is charging me $134.00. Is this legal?

You would have to refer to the documents you signed to open the account, they could have contained a clause for interest and collection agency fees, and possibly attorney fees, to be charged in the event of non payment, suggest you make them produce those documents or settle for less as a bargaining strategy.
