Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

I was summoned in kane county in 2004 but did not live in the state since 2002 in result a judgement was awarded against me. What are my options and do i have any way i can counter sue for violation of due process.

If the transaction arose in IL then the judgment is probably valid. Your option is to pay it. You had the ability to raise the defense in 2004. If it did not arise in IL then if they try to collect in the state where you live, you can contest the jurisdiction of the IL court.
